About This Work

Darkness, illuminated. There is a moment when light meets darkness and colour becomes something extraordinary. ECLIPSE is a sculptural exploration of contrast, depth and light, finished in the striking automotive colour Candy Apple Red — KK11. Its flowing contours draw the eye across a landscape of brilliant crimson highlights and deep, shadowed recesses. Beneath its high-gloss candy finish, the sculpted surface appears to shift and transform as light moves across it, revealing new reflections, unexpected depths and an almost liquid intensity. Inspired by the expressive heritage of automotive custom colour, ECLIPSE takes Candy Apple Red beyond the automobile, giving it a new identity through sculptural form.
