A colour of extraordinary depth. A presence beyond the ordinary.

THE VERDANT GOD A colour of extraordinary depth. A presence beyond the ordinary. There are colours you recognise. And there are colours you remember. Verde Ermes belongs to the latter. Deep within its metallic surface lies a green that seems to exist between worlds. In shadow, it withdraws towards near-black, quiet and almost unknowable. Under light, it reveals itself in rich emerald intensity, its character shifting with every change in illumination. It never gives everything away at once. Known through Lamborghini, this is a colour with a presence that reaches beyond the machine that carries it. Powerful without being loud, mysterious without being obscure, it possesses a quality that invites a second look — and then another. THE VERDANT GOD gives that colour a world of its own. Conceived as an original Jesmonite sculptural relief, the work moves Verde Ermes beyond the automotive surface and into a new artistic form. Texture creates depth. Contours interrupt the light. A high-gloss automotive finish draws the eye across the sculpture, allowing the colour to reveal different aspects of itself as the viewing angle changes. The vehicle is the point of departure, not the subject. What remains is the colour: its intensity, its contradictions and its extraordinary ability to command a space. Somewhere between its deepest shadows and its emerald brilliance, Verde Ermes takes on a character that feels almost otherworldly. THE VERDANT GOD is a name born from that impression — a title for a colour whose presence seems to extend beyond the surface. This is the principle at the heart of Designationism. A historic automotive colour is not simply borrowed as a finish. It becomes part of the permanent identity of an original artwork. THE VERDANT GOD carries Wacky Walls Designation WW-2026012101, with Designation Reference 2026012101. Its sculptural form will be created following acquisition, with its identity established from the outset. The colour has a history. The artwork gives it a future. One artwork. One designation. Forever.

Verde Ermes — Metallic Green

Verde Ermes is a historic Lamborghini automotive colour associated with the marque's most dramatic and powerful machines. Its deep metallic green shifts character under different lighting conditions — from near-black in shadow to a vivid, luminous emerald under direct light. The paint reference 0121 identifies this colour within the Lamborghini colour archive. It is this specific colour — its depth, its character, its visual intensity — that forms the foundation of The Verdant God designation.
